Concerns

Melasma

Careful, long-term management of stubborn pigmentation.

Melasma is patchy, darker pigmentation that usually appears on the forehead, cheeks, between the brows and above the upper lip. It occurs when pigment cells overproduce melanin, and it is more common in women and in olive or darker skin.

Melasma is easily aggravated, so treatment is planned carefully, combining sun protection, medical skincare and, where suitable, gentle in-clinic treatments.
