Skin Boosters

Deep hydration and improved skin quality, from within.

Downtime
Mild, usually settles within hours
Results
Develop over about 4 weeks
Typical course
2 sessions, 6 weeks apart

Skin boosters are micro-injections of a very fine hyaluronic acid gel placed into the skin, rather than beneath it. Instead of adding volume or changing shape, they hydrate the skin from within to improve its quality, elasticity and glow.

They are well suited to early signs of ageing and dehydrated, dull or crepey skin, and can be combined with other treatments for a more complete approach to skin health.

Questions

Frequently asked

Have a question that isn’t answered here? Call us on 03 9807 0022.

How do skin boosters work?

Unlike traditional fillers, skin boosters are not used to volumise or shape the face. They are very fine gels injected into the skin to hydrate it and improve its quality.

When will I see results?

Results usually develop over about four weeks, leaving the skin more plump, hydrated and healthy-looking.

How long do they last?

Typically six to twelve months. We usually recommend an initial course of two sessions six weeks apart, then maintenance once or twice a year.

What can I expect afterwards?

You may notice mild swelling, small bumps, bruising or redness. These are generally minimal and settle within hours to a few days.
